Matthew Weaver – Creative Director
With nearly four decades of experience in the tile, flooring and property industry, Matthew brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge, design intuition, and technical understanding to every project. He’s worked across all sectors—from luxury residential builds and heritage restorations to large-scale commercial developments—always championing materials of quality, character and craftsmanship.
Matthew co-founded the Bath Design Centre with a vision to curate a destination where discerning homeowners, designers, and industry professionals could access to some of the world’s finest wall and floor finishes, supported by real expertise and impeccable service. His eye for design, appreciation of natural materials, and ability to connect clients with unique, often exclusive products has help shape the business into what it is today.
Matt Peters – Co-Founder & Director
As one of the founding figures behind the Tile & Floor story, Matt Peters brings over two decades of experience at our Bath location, with deep-rooted expertise across both hard and soft flooring solutions. His background spans everything from natural stone and porcelain ceramics to vinyls, carpets and technical surfaces, making him a valuable source of insight and direction within the business.
Matt is an integral part of our executive leadership—providing guidance on business strategy, championing the company’s identity, and nurturing long-standing client relationships built on trust, knowledge, and shared success. Respected for his clarity of thought and genuine passion for materials, Matt is always ready to lend his voice where it counts, whether supporting customer-facing decisions or contributing to the overall direction of the brand. His presence ensures that Tile & Floor stays true to its founding principles: quality, reliability, and design with purpose.
Tom Weaver – Sales & Project Director
Having grown up around the business, Tom has been immersed in the world of fine flooring and tile design and interiors from an early age. With over 13 years of hands-on experience across every part of the company—from installation and delivery to design consultancy and project management—Tom has built a comprehensive understanding of how to deliver exceptional service at every stage.
Working alongside his father Matthew as Sales and Project Director, Tom plays a key role in steering the business forward. His natural eye for design, measured approach, and deep respect for craftsmanship make him a valued advisor to clients and a driving force behind the company’s continued pursuit of material excellence.
Tom is passionate about upholding the company’s values: integrity, quality, and a customer-first attitude. Whether he’s overseeing a large residential installation or helping a homeowner choose the perfect finish, he brings energy, precision, and a deep appreciation for the art of what we do.
Sam Read – Sales Assistant & Colour Consultant
Based at our newly opened Chippenham showroom, Sam brings a breath of fresh air to the team with her vibrant enthusiasm, creative intuition, and naturally customer-focused approach. With a background in interiors and a professional eye for colour, she helps clients craft spaces that truly reflect their individual style.
As a trained colour consultant, Sam is the perfect person to turn to when pulling together the finer details of a room—from coordinating tiles and textures to selecting the perfect palette. Her warm, approachable nature and genuine passion for design make every interaction enjoyable and inspiring.
Sam plays a key role in shaping the showroom experience at Draycot, Chippenham, ensuring each visitor receives thoughtful guidance, imaginative ideas, and a level of service that reflects the very best of what Tile & Floor has to offer.
Louise Home – Lead Bathroom Designer
With over 20 years of design experience and a foundation in the arts, Louise brings a uniquely creative perspective to bathroom design—one that balances practicality, elegance, and personal expression. Since joining Tile & Floor, she has become an indispensable part of the team, leading our bathroom design offering with flair and precision.
Louise is known for her intuitive approach to design, taking the time to understand each client’s vision and translating it into highly individualised, functional, and beautiful spaces. Her ability to harmonise materials, textures, and layout has consistently delighted our discerning clients and helped define the standard of what a "whole house experience" at Tile & Floor can truly be.
