Tile & Floor are able to deliver nationwide to Europe and beyond, using a third-party Delivery Company, to offer a reliable and swift delivery service. All deliveries are chargeable.
Within mainland UK deliveries are usually made within 3-4 working days from the date of order placed, if the materials are in stock. A convenient delivery date will be discussed with you when ordering. If the materials are out of stock when the order is placed, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date, due to mitigating reasons beyond our control.
Some of our ranges are bespoke and therefore produced to order, so we will give you an estimated date and contact you when the order is ready for dispatch. A member of the sales team will be able to give you more information on specific products.
Deliveries of bulk items are made between the hours of 8:00am – 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, items dispatched by couriers can be delivered outside of this timeframe. If you require a narrower window for example AM, PM, Saturday or timed delivery slot, please let us know, and this can be arranged for an additional charge. We also offer a premium service should you require the goods more urgently.
Bulk orders will be delivered packed onto a pallet or wooden crate. Deliveries are typically made using an 18-tonne lorry, so Tile & Floor need to be made aware of any access issues prior to delivery. Other vehicles can be requested. Bulk deliveries are made using a tail-lift offload and will be delivered to the closest and safest accessible point to the property, in most cases this is a kerbside delivery. There is a manual pump truck on board the delivery vehicle and at the drivers discretion this may be utilised on flat, hard standing ground. The driver is not obliged to handle the goods or enter a customer’s property. The must be someone responsible must be available at the property to receive the delivery and check for any damages that might have occurred in transit.
When checking the goods for any damages or short delivered items any discrepancies must be noted on the delivery paperwork with as much detail as possible and photographic evidence provided where possible. If there are damages exceeding 10% please contact us immediately.
When unpacking tiles please take care as they can be brittle in their unfixed state. The tiles should be stored safely and handled carefully prior to installation.
Our timber materials will react to changes in temperature and humidity and need storing in a suitable environment. They will need to acclimatise to the conditions of the area they are being installed.
